I had to write a new entry to try out the new journal skin I'm suddenly able to use.
So that's that.

I'm not actually a paramecium... sorry.
When I was much younger I tended to shift between strong interests in various science topics; at one point the subject was parameciums. I soon became notorious as the kid who was always talking about parameciums, so when I signed up for AIM, the most fitting screenname I could come up with was "parameciumkid"... and the name stuck.
