Persephone 2015

Description

I drew this today hoping to append it to this but alas, when I pasted it in I discovered that over the last two years I've ended up changing stylistically and thus her head is a different size relative to her body than all the others. Not to let all my work go to waste, though, I'm just posting it here anyway.
This is more or less supposed to be "current" Persephone, wearing some kind of generic powersuit thing and wielding the pistol she used throughout her Felarya adventures. It's more dangerous than it looks - before arrival, she had loaded it with expensive antimatter-enhanced bullets that explode rather like grenades on impact, shredding her targets. The discharge is also extremely loud and provides a heavy recoil (this pose is just for looks, as she would ordinarily take a knee and use both hands before shooting anything).
Persephone's favorite colors to wear are black and red, and on this outfit she went with a paintjob reminiscent of the blood of her enemies. The suit also has a large number of built-in blades, such as at the knee and elbow joints. While these offer limited practical value, she's well aware of the usefulness of psychological warfare and hopes the coloring and profile will prove intimidating.

One of these days I hope to post some kind of narrative with her in it... So far I pretty much only use Persephone for role-playing, which is a shame because I think she has real potential as a character in my comic or a standalone story.

UPDATED 1 July 2015: Redrew her head to match the proportions of the others; also added a smidgen of lipstick.

Wowee! I think you definitely should get a comic/story going about her - I love her design and some of the rationale behind it :)
